This is a reproduction of very rare antique CoffeeHouse Biedermeier chess set. Earlier such sets were made in Austria-Hungary at the turn of the 19th - 20th century. Very beautiful graceful pieces.
Chess pieces are handmade, copy machine was not used. The chess pieces without metal weighting. The pieces bottoms are finished with leather. Great gift chess player!
